Corrosion under insulation
Corrosion under insulation is a major threat to the reliability and integrity of installations and storage tanks. A highly corrosive environment can form under the insulation, as a result of which rapid, severe corrosion can occur. With timely and professional intervention, the integrity of an object and thus, also the safety of the process can be guaranteed. We have extensive experience in carrying out corrosion under insulation projects.
This is how we tackle corrosion under insulation
- Torbo-blasting (also possible in installations that are in operation)
- Conventional blasting
- Application of wet paint systems
- Application of Thermal Spray Aluminium (TSA)
- Application of Insulating coating
